Everything about credits, changes, and cancelling — no fine print.
That is the fear worth having, and it is what the approval step exists for. Before a single frame renders you see the designed cast and the locked visual style, and you approve them. The same characters hold their faces from the first chapter to the last — which is the thing most AI video gets wrong and the reason it looks generated. Any shot you do not like, describe the change in plain English and it re-renders for 9 credits.
A typical 8-minute video lands around 832 credits — roughly $19 on the Automated plan. A freelance editor producing the same long-form video quotes $150 to $600 and takes three to five days. The exact shot count and price appear on a card before anything renders, and nothing runs until you approve it.
Every image your film needs — a story frame, a character sheet, a changed shot — is 9 credits, flat. Transcription, narration, subtitles and the final cut are free, because images are the only thing we pay a supplier for. A minute of finished video works out to roughly 104 credits at our default pacing; faster cutting uses more images, slower uses fewer.
Talking-head and presenter video, where a real face has to carry the screen. Live-action reactions, vlogs and gameplay. Anything needing real footage of a specific recent event — we generate original art rather than sourcing clips, which is what keeps it monetisable, but it also means we cannot show you actual footage of last week. If your channel needs a camera pointed at the real world, this is the wrong tool and you should not buy it.
It depends which product. Animated video: no — upload a voiceover of any length on any plan, there is no per-plan minute cap and credits are the only limit. Documentaries, cut from real footage, have a per-plan maximum on the uploaded voiceover: Free 5, Starter 5, Creator 10, Automated 20, Hail Mary 30 minutes, with a 30-minute ceiling on every plan and a 15-second minimum. A documentary is priced at 200 credits a minute of uploaded audio, silence included, and the plans differ only in the longest file they accept — a longer file means trimming it or upgrading. Either way you see the exact cost before anything renders, and if your balance will not cover it you can top up and carry on from where you stopped.
They stay on your balance. Monthly grants and top-ups stack together, nothing expires at the end of a cycle, and nothing is taken back mid-cycle. If a render fails, the credits return to your balance automatically — no ticket, no email.
All three, any time, from your billing portal. Upgrades grant the credit difference instantly; downgrades keep every credit you already have; cancelling keeps your plan running until the period you paid for ends.
